Description
The Wagner resistivometer has been designed to provide manufacturers and users of paints used with electrostatic technique a reliable means for measuring the resistivity of said paints, and consequently their aptitude to be sprayed with electrostatic systems.
The staff of the painting departments consider the use of the resistivometer to be essential to check the electrical characteristics of the products, especially when these can be altered due to storage or environmental variations.
Paint manufacturers, with the help of the resistivity meter, are able to modify the resistivity characteristics of their
products by adding suitable additives or with other precautions in the formulation.
The resistivometer is equipped with an easy-to-clean probe, which must be immersed in the fluid to be checked up to a predetermined level.
The two standard batteries (PP3 – 9 volts) have a shelf life of approximately one year
